'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his interest in returning to the Premier League has diminished and he is open to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year contract he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.

The 32-year-old forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the maiden major honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring record of 260.

However, the England leader has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he earlier was, and would definitely consider lengthening his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."

Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the all-time top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
